DETAILS
308LT1-1 (Dynacore) stainless steel FCAW flux-cored welding alloy is used to join base metals of similar composition, such as AISI 301, 303, 304, 305, 308, 308L, 347. By specifying low carbon in this alloy, it is impossible to obtain resistance to intergranular corrosion due to carbide precipitate without the use of stabilizers such as Columbium or Titanium. This material is generally used with 100% Carbon Dioxide, or mixtures of Argon and Carbon Dioxide, typically a 75%/25% mixture. Recommended wire stick out is 5/8 in.-3/4 in.. Conforms to AWS A5.22.
