Magnesium TIG Alloys
Harris offers AZ61A and AZ92A magnesium TIG (GTAW) alloys. These lightweight and non-magnetic alloys have excellent machineability and provide relatively high electrical and thermal conductivity. AZ92A is by far the most common magnesium alloy as it will weld most magnesium base metal.
