DETAILS
W1200 (RG60) GTAW (TIG) is a high strength, bright finish, steel welding solid wire bare alloy that is used where minimum tensile strength of the steel does not exceed 60 psi. Conveniently packaged for point-of-purchase display.
Features
- Bright finish, high strength steel welding rod used for oxy-fuel welding
- Responds well to heat treatment, flame hardening and cyaniding
- Used on carbon steel pipes in power plants and process piping
- No flux required but "puddling" of the molten metal will bring any scale or impurities to the surface
- Weld on clean base metal to ensure the best results
- Ink jet printed identification on entire length of rod
- Conforms to ANSI/AWS A5.2 R60
