DETAILS

Stay-Silv® 2LP is an economical, phos-copper brazing filler metal alloy. It features a lower phosphorus content than Stay-Silv® 2 yielding a wider melting range. This improves the alloy ft.s ability to fill non-uniform clearances. Conforms to the EU Reach & RoHS directive. Complies with ISO 17672 CuP 279 and EN 1044 CP 105

  • Brazing range of 1350 degrees F - 1550 degrees F (732 degrees C - 843 degrees C)
  • Fluidity rating 3
  • Recommended joint clearance of 0.003 in. - 0.006 in. (0.08mm - 0.15mm)
  • Corrosion resistance is generally similar to the copper base metal, but due to its phosphorus content should not be used if the braze is exposed to sulfur or sulfur compounds in service
  • Flux not required for copper brazing as it is self-fluxing. For brazing brass or copper-to-brass Stay-Silv® white flux is suitable for most applications. Harris Eco Smart® boric acid free flux, powder or paste, is an excellent choice to promote sound brazed assemblies
  • Conforms to the EU Reach & RoHS directive
