DETAILS
Phosphorus-Bronze C is a copper-tin alloy that provides good corrosion resistance and ductility. It is used for welding base metals of steel, cast iron, copper, brass and bronze. Ideal for overlays and surfaces needing a bronze-wearing surface. Phos-Bronze C exhibits high tensile and yield strength deposits on phos-bronze materials.
Features
- Designed for welding base metals of steel, cast iron, copper, brass and bronze
- Often used on overlays on cast iron or steel or to join dissimilar metals
- Tensile strength of 66,000 psi
- Yield strength is 35,000 psi
- Greater hardness is achieved because of the 7-9% tin content
- Conforms to ANSI/AWS A5.7 & AMSE SFA A5.7 ERCuSn-C CDA 521
Typical Applications
- Welding base metals of steel, cast iron, copper, brass, and bronze
