DETAILS
316LSi stainless steel GTAW (TIG) welding alloy has similar usage as TIG 316L, but the 0.65-1.00% silicon content improves wash and wetting behavior in the gas shielded welding processes. Conforms to AWS A5.9.

- 58,000 psi yield strength (as welded)
- 37% elongation (as welded); 68% reduction of area (as welded)
- 85 HRB Rockwell B Hardness (as welded)
- 160 HB Brinell Hardness (as welded)
- 95 ft./lb. @ room temperature Charpy V (as welded)
- Conforms to ANSI/AWS A5.9 & ASME SFA 5.9 ER 316LSi
