Gas cylinder safety cap for acetylene. The cap protects the valve and valve stem from damage, misuse and prevents an unsafe increase of pressure in the cylinder. This cap has a 3 1/2 in. collar with coarse threads (8 threads per inch). It is constructed of metal and has a red powder-coated primer finish to prevent rusting. Packaged 24 caps per box.
