Eco Smart® high heat black paste flux for brazing carbide, steel, stainless steel, Monel®, nickel, copper, brass, bronze plus other ferrous and non-ferrous metals. Eco Smart® high heat is designed to extend the life of the flux. This is helpful during long heating cycles on parts, or in case of intense localized heating, such as induction brazing.
Features
- Environmentally friendly with no boric acid or sodium borate salts
- High heat extends life of the flux
- Prevents oxidation of the base metal during the brazing operation
- Paste can be thinned using water
- Brazing rods can be dipped in the paste flux or brushed on the surface of the braze joint
- Activity range of 700°F - 1800°F ° (371°C - 982°C)
- Conforms to AWS A5.31 Class FB3-C, AMS 3411, Fed. Spec. O-F-499, Type B, ISO 18496 Type FH12 (formerly EN 1045)
- Complies with the EU REACH directive
